Peri/Menopause Yoga Workshop & Mini-Retreat

Menopause Yoga Workshop.

A chance to retreat from daily responsibilities for the afternoon and invest in yourself for a change. Whatever stage you're at, you are so welcome. Whether you've been to a workshop before or not, there's always more to learn and share and the wisdom of post-menopausal women can provide an especially vital bridge for another woman to cross validating to both. No matter what stage of menopause you're in, deep rest is key.

Menopause and the run up (Perimenopause) can be a challenging and isolating time for many women, with a sense of loss of self, overwhelmed, poor sleep, anxiety, irritability, brain fog, joint pain, worsening migraine.

Typically, it creeps in from around age 40. Women often realise in retrospect. We're so good at pushing on through, but there's really no need and no medal at the end.

Enjoy gentle, meditative yoga, yielding to stillness in Yin and Restorative yoga. Find deep rest - cocooned in bolsters, blankets, cushions, lavender eye-pillow over the eyes. This is not Instagram yoga - it's yoga for the soul, specifically tailored to menopause.

No yoga experience necessary - just a willingness to give it a go.

Connect in a women's circle, with opportunity to be heard, reflect, share experiences/wisdom/knowledge/vulnerabilities. Contribute as much or as little as you wish.

I will guide and signpost you to discover what lifestyle tweaks work for you.

Every woman is unique. We will all experience this transition in our own individual way.
