Expect slow, mindful, gentle movement to ease out tension, before settling into restorative yoga, closing with a long "Savasana" relaxation.
A chance to tune quietly inwards, supported by soft props and cocooned in blankets. Lighting is low, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, down-regulating the nervous system.
Let the props hold you, in your own little yoga nest.
Restorative Yoga down-regulates the nervous system, moving into the parasympathetic system - “rest and digest”. Heart rate slows, blood pressure lowers, the mind softens. Set down the metaphorical bags you are carrying, with a deep inner sigh. We rest enveloped in warm, supported stillness, lavender eye pillow over gently closed eyes. Nowhere else you need to be, nothing you need to be doing, just surrendering to the moment. No yoga experience or bendiness needed.
We close the session in softness, easing gently back into reality.
Option to stay the last 30 minutes for a warm drink and sweet treat or leave in the quiet and take your treat away home.
